摘要
表面张力过渡焊具有焊接效率高、背部成型好、飞溅小等特点 .通过采用这种新型焊接方法进行一系列焊接程序试验 ,确定不同焊接位置打底焊的焊接工艺参数 ,使这种焊接方法在海洋工程 (导管架 )的建造中得到了成功的运用 ,提高了焊接工效 。
The STT(surface tension transfer) welding is a new process application in the near future.High efficiency, low spatter and excellent backing profile is its main character. Here, we have found the best welding parameters after a series of welding procedure qualification test by different welding positions. And now it has been widely used in offshore fabrication, such as the jacket fabrication. It will replace the conventional welding method of root pass welding with SMAW and TIG. The procedure increases working efficiency and reduces productive cost.
