Chiral resolution techniques are briefly reviewed,both those already in commercial practice as well as emerging technologies in labs.It includes five main resolution techniques,viz.direct crystallization resolution,reaction resolution,kinetic resolution,chromatogram resolution and membrane-based resolution.The pros and cons of each technique are pointed out and the possibilities of industrialization of the five are compared.41 references are cited.
