摘要
地理信息系统（GIS）和全球定位系统（GPS）在智能交通系统（ITS）中有着巨大的应用潜力和广阔的应用前景。简要阐述ITS的概念和基本组成模块,介绍了GIS、GPS在ITS应用中的主要作用和问题,展望今后发展趋势,并提出相应的研究对策。
There are many applying potentialities and bright prospect for GIS and GPS being used in the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) .Some concepts and basic models of ITS are discussed in this paper.The main functions and emphases of applying GIS and GPS in ITS are introduced. Finally, some measures and methods for applcation of GISand GPS in ITS for future study are proposed.
