摘要
用that引导的同位语从句与that引导的定语从句在表达意义和语法要求上都不相同 ,但因为两者形式相似 ,非常容易混淆 ,并极易由此造成句子意思的理解和翻译等方面的错误。本文根据Quirk和Leech等人的有关论述 ,提出可以从五个方面来认识同位语从句和定语从句的区别问题。
The appositive clause introduced by that differs largely from the attributive clause introduced by that both in expressions of meaning and grammar rules, but they are likely to be confused due to their similar appearances. As a consequence,they could easily bring about mistakes in understanding, writing or translation. According to the expositions of Quirk, Leech and some other grammarians, the authors of this article suggest that the two clauses should be distinguished according to five criteria.
