This article, based on an analysis of W. E. Doll's postmodern syllabus perspective, tries to reveal the trends in postmodern syllabus research. Having critically drawn upon many traditional syllabus perspectives, Doll's theory lends itself to our understanding of the dynamic development of postmodern syllabi and provides us with a new angle, a new mindset for our syllabus research in the 21th century.
