Introduced in the article is the plastics coating technology for large-sized welded water pipe, involving such aspects as pre-coating treatment, the plastics coating process, the properties of the plastics-coated tube and the testing methods therefore. In addition, the development prospect of plastics coating of the large-sized welded water pipes is also predicted.
