The process computer system employed by Tianjin Steel Tube Corp., Ltd. is described, covering such facets as the layout, the networks configuration, key functions and how to perfect the functions. Also put forward are the opinions of the author about the developing trend, equipment selection and systematic structure selection of the process computer system, which are helpful to steel sectors and manufacturing sectors involving mini-process flows as well.
