摘要
日本是当今世界仍实行社会教育制度的少数几个国家和地区之一,战后日本社会教育的活动和内容,几乎都是围绕“设施主义”及“教养中心”等内容而展开的。特别是其理念的先进性和高度化的特征,在世界范围内受到了广泛的注目。但日本社会教育的不足之处却又正好是我国成人教育的优势之所在;因此如何借鉴近邻日本的有益经验并去其糟粕,乃是横向型国际比较研究的真正意义之所在。
Japan is one of a few countries and regions which still practice the system of social education. Nearly all the activities and contents of Japan's social education after World War II center around 'facility upholding' and 'breeding center'. Such an educational mode attracts world-wide attention, for it is featured by advance in concept high concentration. To draw on Japan's experience and avoid its shortcomings will be of great significance in conducting a horizontal comparative research in education.
