This paper introduces the basic analsis methods and handling methods with typical examples to judge the failures of rotary machines such as boiler feed pump and fans, The description is easy to be understood and can be an instruction for both technical personnel and operators on duty to judge and prevent rotary machine failures, reduce damages and handle the failures properly and in time.
