摘要 假说是地学理论发展的重要形式。这是由地学研究对象在时间与空间上的大尺度性、地质过程的混沌性、作用机制的非线性等特点所决定。在运行特征上 ,地学假说表现出思维方向的分歧对抗性、理论内容的互补旋回性、检验方法的多样复合性和结果确认的长期曲折性。假说是地学理论发展的推进剂。这种推进作用具有解释新经验新事实的有效性、提出新思想新观点的创造性和形成新学派新阵营的驱动性。 Hypotheses are the important types of development of geological theories.It is decided by the characteristics of research object of geology,which are the great measurement in time and space,the blend of process,and the non-singularity of function.In its moving feature,geological hypotheses embody specific property of contrary way in thinking,of revolving and mutual compensating in theoretical content,of polytechnic and complex method in test,and of the long term and zigzag in confirming the results.Hypo theses are the propellant for development of geological theories.It is characterized by effectiveness for explaining the new experiences and new facts,creativeness for putting forward the new thought and new concept,and drive for forming the new school and new camp.Geological hypotheses are the significant display of creative thinking of mankind.
