摘要
K覆盖的Cu(111)表面在室温下可吸附CO(可能是分解吸附),在K的覆盖度θ_k明显小于θ_(min)(θ_(min)=0.18)的范围内,室温下CO的吸附使表面功函数增大。当θ_k≥θ_(min)时,表面功函数先减小,达一极小值后再随CO暴露量增大。这一结果可以用凝胶一平板(Jelli-um-slab)模型的图象很好地解释。
Coadsorption of CO and K on Cu(lll) surface was investigated using a Kelvin probe. We found that CO can adsorb (probably dissociatively) on the potassium precovered Cu(lll) surface at room temperature. When θK<θmin, (θmin = 0.18) the adsorption of CO makes the work function increase. When θR>θmin, the work function decreases at first, and then increases with amount of CO exposure. The results can be well accounted for by the jellium slab model.
