摘要
洪堡是德国著名的高等教育思想家和改革家。他认为 ,大学是学者的社团 ,是高等学术机构 ,是带有研究性质的学校。大学具有发展科学和培养人才双重职能 ,人才培养是在科学研究的过程中实现的。大学教育的培养目标在于培养“完人” ,而大学要培养完人 ,就必须把教学与科研相统一 ,重视普通教育 ,重视学生的自我教育 。
Wilhelm Von Humboldt was a well known German educator and reformer of higher education. In his opinion, university is a community of scholars, an institute of higher learning, and a school of research. The university has two functions, namely,scientific research and talents training that is realized within research. The objective of university education is to cultivate the whole man. To complete this task, the university, should unify research and instruction, emphasize general education and self education, and provide the students with a fitting environment.
