摘要
自 2 0世纪 70年代以来 ,小班化教育就已成为美国政府和民众所青睐的教育革新措施之一。 90年代左右的两份权威的实验性研究报告 :田纳西州的STAR计划和威斯康星州的SAGE计划终于推动小班化教育成为席卷美国教育改革的浪潮。但美国的教育学者们也从实施中发现了小班化改革的不少问题 。
The move to reduce class size has become one of the hottest state educational policy initiatives in America since 1970s. The two authoritative findings, which reported by the Tennessee Project STAR and Wisconsin Project SAGE research teams, motivated the surf of CSR program particularly in the primary (K 3) grades. But quite a few researchers found some serious defects of the program in the process and began to consider other alternate options, which led the CSR movement to work better.
