上世纪末以来,日本的经济始终未从低谷中走出,而欧洲的经济也不见起色,2000年美国经济发展放缓,特别是今年的9·11恐怖袭击事件使本已疲软的经济雪上加霜,这一切无疑对全球磁体产业的发展影响巨大。首先,由于采购的减缩,发达国家磁体产业的并购极为频繁,磁体产业结构变化迅速,一些新公司的名字尚未被人们所熟悉,却已经消失了。此外,生产成本的增高,迫使许多厂家,包括一些知名的公司停止材料生产,转向下游的器件生产。磁体的生产多转移到包括中国在内的发展中国家。本文将讨论当前稀土磁体生产、应用的发展趋势。
Many NdFeB magnet plants in developed countries stopped their production activities due to global economic depression. The solidification and purchase are quite common in the West. The structure of magnet business there changed so quickly that you can hardly remember the name of new companies before they disappearance. The increase of producing cost forced most companies to keep only manufacturing magnet devices, but shift their magnet producing line to developing countries, where producing cost is much lower. Trend of both magnet production and application is discussed in present paper.
