摘要
按照党中央、国务院的战略部署 ,我国正在全面实施西部大开发。进行西部大开发 ,不仅具有重要的经济意义和生态意义 ,而且具有重大的社会意义和政治意义。农业在西部大开发中占有优先发展的战略地位。西部地区农业的发展 ,对于加速该地区的工业化、城市化、现代化将起着积极的促进和推动作用。西部地区农业可持续发展 ,既存在许多有利条件 ,也面临一系列不利因素。作者在比较和分析西部地区农业可持续发展优、劣势的基础上 ,提出了新世纪西部地区农业可持续发展的主要对策 :(1)大搞生态建设 ,改善生态环境 ;(2 )调整农业结构 ,促进农民增收 ;(3)开发旱地农业 ,力争高产高效 ;(4)发展节水农业 ,推广节水技术 ;(5 )开发旅游资源 ,发展观光农业 ;(6 )加强教育 。
According to the strategical arrangement of the central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and the state council, a large-scale exploitation is being undertaken in west China. It is not only of economic and ecological significance, but also of social and political significance. So agriculture plays an important part in the development of west China. The development of agriculture will push foward actively the process of industrization, urbanization, and moderization of the region. While there are some advantageous factors, a lot of disadvantageous factors are hindering the development. After analyzing its superiority and inferiority, the author puts foward some main measures for the sustainable development of agriculture in the new century.(1)undertaking ecological construction, improving the ecological environment; (2)adjusting agricultural structure, increasing farmer's income; (3)exploiting dryland agriculture with high yield and high econmic benefit. (4)developping 'thrifty water' agriculture, spreading 'water-saving' technology; (5)exploiting tourist resources, developping sightseeing agriculture; (6)strengthenning education, enchancing the quality of the inhabitants.
