The three stories, 'Miserable Bicycle','Only Heaven and Earth Know'and 'The Happy Life of Zhang Damin' in the collection 'Sage of Fists' reveal the nature of sufferings in Liu Heng's literature world and mark his evolution of narration from misery to smiles.
