摘要
为了满足 2 1世纪对外语人才的需求 ,我国教育部和新编《高等学校英语专业教学大纲》提出了培养“复合型”外语人才的奋斗目标。本文认为 ,仅培养“复合型”不够 ,还应当注重“应用型” ,并改造原有的“知识型”和“研究型” ;现有各类院校的外语专业之间应当分工协作 ,各自有所侧重 ,共同来培养
To meet China's needs of foreign 1anguage talents in the 21st century,the Chinese Education Ministry and the newly compiled English Syllabus for English Majors of Higher Education have advanced the aim of cultivating cross disciplinary foreign language personnel.The present author thinks that it is far from enough to train the'Cross disciplinary Type'of personnel only.We Should a1so pay much attention to culvate the'Application Type'and reforill the present'Knowledge Type'and the'Research Type'.It is quite necessary for the foreign language majors in all types of universities and colleges to share out the work and cooperate with one another.Each type of universities or colleges should lay particular emphasis on cultivating one or two types of foreign language talents demanded by China's modernization construction,which is appealing for such a joint work.
