摘要
The future of optical communication is all optical communication,while basic ingredient of all optical communication are optical passive devices.In this paper,we review present status of optical passive device which include connector,coupler,optical switch,attenuater,WDM devices,isolator etc.We especially focus on optical switch which is the core of the new generation of optical switch system.We also comment on the future development of optical passive devices.
