At present, ultra supercritical (usc.) thermal power unit has been put into commercial operation in the world. Thermal power unit adopting ultra supercritical parameters is one of the practicable plans for developing advanced power generation technology in China. In this paper, technical analyses have been made on thermal system, block construction and material of ultra supercritical steam turbine based upon technical information abroad.
