The smelting was intensified at No.4 blast furnace in the No.2 Ironmaking Plant of Magang after blowing in. The utilization factor is increasing gradually and beat a record of 2.902 in April, 2001, after taking measures such as improving the charge materials, enhancing the blast capacity, increasing the hot blast temperature, injecting coal with oxygen enriched blast air and strengthening the management etc.
