摘要
本文应用上海徐家汇天文台的地震学记录及当年的地震图纸等,从微观,宏观两方面探讨了1920年12月22日西藏芒康盐井地震的发震时间为05时33分,震级为6级,宏观震中北纬29°02′,东经98°36′,宏观震源深度约10千米等,属有前震的主震余震型地震序列,地震破坏严重的主要原因在于当地的建筑物质量低劣,震源较浅等。
Based on the seismological records and the seismic maps in Xujiahui,Shanghai observatory,it is found from microscopic and macroscopic aspects that the Yanjing,Mongkang,Tibet earthquake oc- curred on 5:33,Dec.22,1920 with M=6.The earthquake epicenter was located at 29°02' N,98°36 'E,with the depth of macroscopic focus being 10 km.The event belongs to main shock—after shock type of earthquake series.The severe damage caused by the earthquake series.The severe damage caused by the earthquake mainly resulted from local buildings of poor quality and from relatively shal- low focus.
