The purpose of introducing starframe silk scouring is to eliminate the common defects occurring in hang scouring of such heavy silk fabrics as habotai, twill, satin, etc. The starframe is capable of scouring those silks, and reducing the chafe marks and cutting-through pieces of the scoured fabric, thus improving their quality and economic efficiency. The article presents the scouring process, key technologies, major components and features of the equipment.
