摘要
本文简要回顾了现有的保偏光纤方位角定位方法 ,在实用性较强的 POL法基础上 ,提出了 POL M方法 .用熊猫光纤实测表明它可提高定位精度到 1°以内 ,并显著增强测量稳定性与调整容差 ,从而显示出极强的实用性 .
In company with technology developments of fiber optic communication and fiber sensors,the impact of light-wave polarization staus becomes noticeable.Thus Polarization Maintaining (PM) fibers are used more and more widely and deeply to reduce signals' aberration and instability due to the random polarization status.To take full advantage of PM fiber for enhancing the capability of whole system,the PM fiber's azimuth must be accurately measured.But now one of the 'bottle necks' in the PM fiber's practical and accurate application is lack of such a high accurate method with facility and celerity.This paper briefs the alignment methods of PM fiber's azimuth.Then on the base of POL method,it proposes a new one:POLM method.It improves precision of angle orientation within 1° in the practical measuring with panda PM fiber.And with its high stability and tolerance during measurement,this alignment method shows excellent practicability.
