摘要
利用生长模拟系统预测森林生长与收获、借助地理信息系统反映森林面积动态,是BC省森林资源清查的重要特点,从而决定了生长收获调查的地位和作用。预测模型根据生长收获固定样地和临时样地的调查数据建立。本文概述了BC省固定样地的测定技术与特点,重点介绍了森林生长收获预测方法,包括预测单元的确定、立地质量评价、可兼容生长模拟系统及其主要预测模型。
The important features of forest resource inventory of BC Provinceof Canada are using the growth simulation system to predict fast growthand harvest, and using the geographic information system to show the cu-rrent area of forests, thus revealing the role of a survey on the forestgrowth and harvest. Development of the prediction model is based on thedata collected from the fixed and temporary sample plots for forest growthand harvest. This paper describes briefly the measuring technique and itscharacteristics. Emphasis is placed on describing the prediction method con-cerning forest growth and harvest, including the determination of the unitsof prediction, evaluation of site quality, compatible growth simulationsystem, and the principal prediction method.
