Consideration in Estimating Capacity for Future Telecommunications

摘要 本文先介绍了固定和移动两面大类通信网的概况,然后依次说明光纤传输和未来全光网的潜在容量,以及蜂窝网和卫星通信系统的容量估算。 The paper begins with a brief review of fixed and mobile communnication networks.Then, it describes the potentials of optical fiber transmission and future all optical network. Finally, it explains the calculation of capacity for cellular network and statellite communication systems.
