摘要
海明威是举世闻名的著名小说家。根据对他众多脍炙人口的作品的分析 ,结合其本人一生痛苦的遭遇及当时他所处的残酷的社会现实 ,可得出海明威既是一个具有浓厚死亡情结的人 ,同时又是一个宁折不弯的硬汉的结论。
Ernest Hemingway is a great novelist of world renown. Through the analyses of his multiple popular works, this essay concludes that Earnest Hemingway is such a man with both strong death complex and unyieldingness. This feature resulted from Hemingway's bitter personal life experiences and the social realities of his time.
