摘要
西部大开发的顺利进行需要一个良好的周边安全环境。本文在分析西部大开发的周边环境安全状况的基础上，就正确处理当前存在的隐患问题提出了建议。认为应该用新的安全观处理周边关系，加强与周边国家的全方位合作，以合作促进地区的开发。
The great development of the west is very important to the nation security of China,and it needs good surroundings.Now the surroundings are overall pleased,but some areas'situation is getting rather complicated and grim.The paper deals mainly with these hidden perils,especially in the Middle of Asia and the South of Asia,and tries to put forward some proposals to remove them.
