摘要
回顾物理力学的创立和半个世纪的发展,表明物理力学对工程技术和力学基础研究的双重作用,以及钱学森对物理力学的创建和发展的卓越贡献,并展望物理力学的未来,说明我们这代人负有主动促进物理力学发展的历史责任.
The foundation of Physical Mechanics and its development during the past half century are reviewed to show its double function on engineering-technology and the research of mechanical basis, and Tsien Hsue-Shen's preeminent contribution on the foundation and development. The future of Physical Mechanics is looked forward and we shouldering the historical responsibility to promote its development is pointed out too.
