The current market situation of the organic intermediates used for manufacturing fine chemicals in Asia was reviewed in this paper, and the recent developments of the intermediate involving the industry in China and India were also introduced. Based on them, the key affecting the market of intermediate in Asia was pointed out, in order to possess an important reference value for the further development of intermediate industry in Asia.
