摘要
目的 探讨功能性内窥镜鼻窦手术在老年慢性鼻窦炎、鼻息肉患者的应用及其疗效。 方法 总结 74例≥ 6 0岁老年慢性鼻窦炎、鼻息肉患者行功能性内窥镜手术的临床资料 ,以同期行相同手术的 199例 5 9岁以下患者为对照组。 结果 老年组与对照组手术治愈率分别为 79 5 %和 77 9%。 结论 功能性内窥镜鼻窦手术同样适合于老年患者 。
Objective To evaluate the application of functonal endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) in senile patients with nasal polypus and chronic sinusitis and to investigate its clinical efficacy. Methods Clinical data of seventy four patients above 60 years old who underwent FESS between 1996 and 2000 were summarized.One hundred and ninety nine patients under 59 years old who underwent FESS in the same period were selected as the control group. Results The cure rate of the senile patients group and control group were 79 5% and 77 9%,respectively( P >0 05). Conclusions FESS is also applicable to senile patients with nasal polypus and chronic sinusitis and can improve the quality of their lives.
