摘要
本文分析了英语成语中所体现的英汉文化差异 ,提出在英语成语翻译中首先要保证原文隐含意义的准确转达 ,在没有文化冲突的情况下兼顾形象意义和字面意义 ,并要根据具体的语境正确译出原文的褒贬意义。
In this article, the author make an analysis of the difference in the Chinese and English cultures by the method of the pragmatics in which the original hidden meaning should be considered first in the appropriate translation of the English idioms. Both the word meaning and the hidden meaning could be kept in case of no cultural conflicts, and some methods of translation has been put forward in these kinds of idioms.
