认为英国近代职业技术教育发展迟缓的原因与英国的经济状况、文化、历史传统等方面休戚相关。其主要原因在于:１)古典人文主义教育传统根深蒂固;２)职业教育制度纳入学制迟于德、美、日等国。３)对传统的学徒制度的固守;４)传统上英国对科学的理解。
The reasons why British contemporary technical and vocational education isn't making good progress exist in economic condition, culture and historical tradition of Great Britain, including the deeply rooted educational tradition of classic humanism, the lagging behind of occupational education system, and the understanding of science from the perspective of British tradition.
