摘要
StephenL .Wood和黄复生 1986报道 (Stephen ,1986) ,将拟鳞小蠹属Pseudoxylechinus定为新属 ,包括 5种。本文介绍 1新种云杉拟鳞小蠹Pseudoxylechinuspiceaesp .nov .的形态特征及列出该属 6种的检索表。属的特征其中触角锤状部近基 1/ 3处有一横向几丁质嵌隔 (上述论文未提及 )。
In the present paper,a new species of Pseudoxylechinus is described,which discovered on logs of Picea asperata from Yunnan Province at the Nanhai( 113.2°N, 23.1°E) Guangdong Province.Type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology,Chinese Academy of Sciences and Wenjindu Animal and Plant Quarantine Bureau,Shenzhen,China.Pseudoxylechinus piceae sp. nov. (Figs. 1-6)This species is distinguished from other members of the genus by the body large sized and by the presence of a transverse concavity on the frons in both sexes.\;Female length 3.3*!mm(paratype 3.2-3.5*!mm),2.5 times as long as wide;color dark brown,vestiture apparently uniformly pale.\;Frons with a distinct transverse concavity just above middle part,median longitudinal groove present.Vestiture of rather fine,long setae,which are oblique upwards on the upper half of frons,while the others,on the lower half of frons,oblique toward the median longitudinal line.Antennal funicle 7 segmented;club circular cone,with 3 rows of seate,a septum transversely on basal one\|third.\;Pronotum 0.9 time as long as wide,widest at base,strongly,arcuately converging on basal three\|fourths to moderately constricted just behind rather boradly rounded anterior margin.Surface with small punctures,a median longitudinal carina on basal three\|fourths.Vestiture of recumbent short almost scalelike ground setae.Elytra 1.5 times as long as wide;basal margin elevated,and armed with erect crenations.Interstriae 2 times as wide as striae,each learing a row of granulations and a row of erect slender bristles,vestiture of short,almost scalelike ground setae.Declivity moderately steep,interstriae 1 and 3 concave,narrower than others and converging as one interstiae near the extremity of elytron,without granulations and vestiture on them.\;Male similar to female,except smaller in size.\;Length of body: 3.0-3.2*!mm,3.2-3.5*!mm.
