摘要
语言是文化的重要组成部分 ,同时又是文化信息的载体 ,反映着一个民族的文化 ,揭示该民族文化的内容。在大学英语教学中 ,一个科学的、完整的语言教学体系 ,必须把语言教学和文化教学紧密地结合起来 ,以促使学生把语言知识、语言技能和文化知识有机地“化合”为有效得体的语言交际能力。
Language teaching cannot be independent from culture introduction. The relationship between them is complementary. Teachers at college must attach great importance to the introduction of the culture of English speaking countries to students, in order that the students can learn and use appropriate English in the cross-culture communication.
