介绍了加拿大诺曼 (NORAM )公司在污水处理方面的一项专利技术———双威污水污泥处理系统 ,包括VT污水处理工艺和VD污泥处理工艺。它利用潜置于地下的竖向反应器对污水、污泥进行超深好氧生物处理。其主要特点是将普通深井曝气工艺中的三个分离处理区合并 ,使反应池体积更小、氧的利用率更高 ,从而降低了工程投资和运行费用。
A patent technology is described including wastewater treatment process VT and sludge treatment system VD developed by Norman Corporation in Canada. The wastewater and sludge are treated by aerobic biological process in super deep vertical reactor installed underground. The three separating zones in shaft aeration tank have been combined into one of smaller volume and meanwhile the oxygen availability increased. Both the investment and operating expenses are reduced.
