摘要
对同一地理区域的候平均要素距平场时间序列,设计了5种不同空间格点数(以n记)的EOF试验。结果表明,存在一个格点数的阈值n_0,当n>n_0时,EOF分析结果的差异甚小;当n<n_0时,差异明显增大。这对理解应用中EOF分析方法结果的稳定性有益。
In this paper an EOF experiment of five different grid-pointnumbers (n) for the pentad average element anomaly time series of thesame geographical region is designed. Results show that there exists alimited value n_0 in the grid-point number. When n>n_0, the differencebecomes significantly large and vice versa. These results prove usefulin understanding the stability of the EOF analysis method.
