摘要
先用离散的正交小波和滤波器构造小波包 ,再用构造的小波包对图像进行二级分解 .各频段编码方式为 :低频部分作DPCM编码 ;中频部分采用DCT变换并经阀值处理后作游程编码 ;高频部分不作编码处理 ,在解码时用零进行填充 .实验证明这是一种比较好的编码方案 ,重构图像质量比较高 .
First, wavelet packet is constructed with discrete wavelet and filters. Then image is decomposed two levels with wavelet packet. Low frequency section is encoded by DPCM.Middle frequency is transformated by DCT and encoded by run length after threshold processing. High frequency is not encoded and will be filled with zero while it is decoded.
