摘要
小城镇建设对不发达地区实现社会经济可持续发展具有重要意义。新疆要抓住西部大开发的发展机遇，实现社会经济可持续发展，一个重要举措就是因势利导加强小城镇建设力度，大力发展小城镇。
Building of small－ size towns is of significance for social, economic sustainable development of under－ developed regions. The authors holds view that one of the important measures that Xinjiang should take is to enhance the dynamics of building small－ size towns so as to speed up its small－ size urbanization. [
