经院哲学的产生给西欧带来了探索学术的自由意志和独立精神。“学术自由”与经院哲学思辨的研究方法、理性的觉醒、大学的建立和自治传统。
As given birth, scholasticism brought to West Europe academia freedom and spirit of independence. Academia freedom was immediately or indirectly concerned with the Scholastic research methodology, rationalistic arousal, establishment of academies, self-contained tradition, and economic growth plus political enlightenment of West Europe.
