摘要
美国铝业公司是全球最大的氧化铝、电解铝、铝加工生产商，不仅涉及采矿、冶炼、电解、加工和回收等铝工业领域，而且还从事包装业、消费品、汽车工业和运输、航空业、建筑业等。本文主要介绍了美铝2000年各业务板块的产能和产量（特别是氧化铝和原铝），生产经营结果，合并、收购、转让等资本运营情况。
Alcoa is the world's leading producer of primary aluminum, fabricated aluminum, and alumina，not only is active in all major aspects of the Aluminum－industry: mining, refining, smelting, fabricated and recycling, but also in packaging, consumer, automotive and transportation, aerospace, building and constructing. This paper introduces mostly the Alcoa's capacity and product of each segments( especially bauxite and alumina, primary aluminum), the results of operation , merging ,acquiring and selling in 2000.
