A new genus and two new specis of Evacanthinae from Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces of China are described in this paper. The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica (IZAS) in Bejing. Subulatus, gen. n. Type species: Subulatus bipunctatus , sp. n. The new genus Subulatus is allied to Carinata Li et Wang in general appearance, but can be clearly distinguished by: 1) crown with obvious median and lateral carinae, depression deeper between carinae, and some fine longitudinal wrinkles sparsely and laterally; 2) basal half pygofer broad and apical half thin, process not as long as pygofer; 3) apical half part of aedeagus long and narrow, full of fine spines and a large conical project ventrally. 1. Subulatus bipunctatus, sp. n. (Fig.1) Body length (incl. teg.): ♂ 6.5 mm~6.9 mm. The new species is similar to the other new species Subulatus trimaculatus in general appearance, but can be distinguished by the following characteristics: 1) body shorter; 2) vertex with three black spots and all prolong to face, crown with two other round spots basally; 3) clavus orange colored mostly, a longitudinal black and curved band from base to the end of clavus; 4) stem of connective long, as four times to its arm other than twice longer in the latter species. Holotype ♂, Paratype: 3♂♂ (IZAS), Xixiangchi, Sichuan Province, China, 13 Ⅷ 1957, Huang Keren. 2. Subulatus trimaculatus, sp. n. (Fig.2) Body length (inc. teg.): ♂ 7.5 mm. This species is similar to the type species S. bipunctatus, but can be distinguished from it by the diagnostic characters mentioned above. Holotype ♂ (IZAS), Xiaomengyang, Yunnan Province, China, 16 Ⅶ 1957, Wang Shuyong.
