摘要
任何人在学习一种外语的语音系统时都会受到母语迁移特别是其负迁移的影响。作为我国七大汉语方言之一和湖南第一大方言 ,湘方言与英语的语音系统有很大的差异 ,可该方言区的大学生学习英语语音时往往忽略了这些差异 ,不自觉地将湘方音的发音规律和语音特征套用在英语词句上 ,从而导致种种发音偏误。显然 ,对湘方音音段音位在该方言区大学生英语语音学习中的负迁移影响进行调查分析 ,这对于进一步提高湖南高校学子们的英语口语和听力水平以及进一步发展湖南高校的英语语音教学与研究 ,无疑都是非常有益的。
In learning the sound system of a foreign language, everyone will be inf luenced by the transfer(especially the negative transfer)of his native language. As one of the seven main Chinese dialects and the largest one in Hunan,Xiang dia lect is different from English in many ways.But many Hunan college students usua lly neglect these differences in learning English pronunciation.They substitute the rules and features of Xiang dialectal pronunciation for those of English unc onsciously,which cause many errors in pronuncing English.Obviously,making an inv estigation and analysis of the influence of the negative transfer of Xiang diale ctal segmental phonemes on the students,who cone from Xiang dialectal area and a re learning English in colleges,can be very helpful to improve their oral Englis h and listening ability and to promote the teaching and research of English pron unciation in Hunan.
