掺Nd玻璃光纤的激光和超辐射

Lasing Action and Superfluorescence of Neodymium Doped Glass Fiber

摘要 用氩离子激光(514nm)泵浦掺Nd玻璃光纤产生激光;并观察到超荧光辐射现象。激光阈值为2.4mW,转换斜率21%。激光输出功率与泵光功率呈线性关系。超荧光现象则没有明显的阈值,输出与泵光呈非线性关系。 Neodymium doped fiber laser pumped with argon laser at 511nm was obtained. Itsthreshold power and slope efficiency were 2.4mW and 21%, respectively. The depende-ace of output power on the pumping power was linear above the threshold. The su-perfluorescence of Nd-fiber was also observed without obvious threshold. The rela-tionship between the output intensity of the superfluorescence and its pumping inte-nisity was completely nonlinear.
