摘要
外高加索地区的战略重要性决定了美俄之间的角逐将会持续下去。美俄各有优势，也各有弱点，阿塞拜疆、亚美尼亚和格鲁吉亚基本国情和需求各不相同。俄美在外高加索地区今后将维持目前这种竞争中共存的动态平衡局面，但双方的力量对比将随着两国在整个世界范围内相互较量的态势发展而发生相应变化。
The strategic importance of Outer Caucasus determines the rivalry over this region between the United States and Russia will continue. The United States and Russia each has its advantages and disadvantages. Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia each has its own national conditions and needs. In future in Outer Caucasus region Russia and the US will maintain the current situation of dynamic equilibrium in which the two countries coexist in contention. But the balance of the forces of the two countries will change correspondingly along with the development of their worldwide contention.
