摘要
现代远程教育的萌生及迅速发展为高校图书馆的功能增加了新的内涵，高校图书馆在远程教育中大有作为。高校图书馆为现代远程教育服务应采取的措施。
This article introduces the charactetistics of distance education and its prospects,probes the function of the academic libraries in distance education,gives some suggestion how the libraries serve distance education in modern times.
