突厥沙钵略可汗上书隋文帝称臣 ,标志着内蒙古地区置于隋朝有效的管辖之下。
The fact that Shabenlue Khan of Tujue submitted a written statement to emperor Suiwen Di declaring himself a vassal indicated that the area of Inner Mongolia had been placed under the Sui government. And according to the actual conditions in Inner Mongolia, the Sui government adopted different ways of administration and policies towards different nationalities.
