Using ~{*+~}x2~{*+~}-test and Spearman's rank correlation c oeffic ient(R) formula,the interspecific association and correlation of 22 main tree po pulations in the evergreen broadleaf forest in Simian mountain were investigated .The ecological significance of the results of ~{*+~}x2~{*+~}-test and R formula has been analyzed,and based on the results of ~{*+~}x2~{*+~}-test and R formula,the 22 ma in tree s pecies can be dirided into 4 ecological species groups.
