摘要
PC是一种连接硬件装置或软件数据库等数据源与过程控制客户应用程序之间的标准化的接口协议 ,它可以显著地增强过程控制领域中的控制系统、现场设备、管理应用程序之间的互操作性 ,为实时综合监测系统的开发提供一条高效、可靠的新途径。本文首先论述了过程监测系统开发所面临的一般性问题 ,强调了实时数据通信问题的重要性 ,概要介绍了OPC模型的结构与特点 ,分析了他与传统的Client/Server模型之间的区别 ,最后介绍了OPC技术在船舶机舱集中监测报警系统开发中的应用。
OPC is the standard interface protocol for connecting the data sources such as devices, databases, etc., with the client applications of the process control. It can greatly enhance the interoperability between automation/control applications, field systems/devices and business/office applications in the process control industry. It supplies a reliable and efficient way for developing the process monitoring systems. In this paper, the general problems in the development of a process monitoring system are discussed with the real time data access being emphasized. The OPC based client/server model is introduced and analyzed as compared to the traditional client/server model. Such OPC technology is applied to develop a marine process monitoring system.
