摘要
归纳并分析了科技期刊论文英文信息部分中存在的错误及原因，论述了坚实的英文功底、相当的科技知识和严谨的工作作风是科技期刊英文编辑必须具备的素养，旨在为我国科技期刊走向世界起到桥梁和纽带作用。
Some typical examples of mistakes are given and analyzed, which were met with in the course of editing papers. To be an English editor, one must be good at English, master certain scientific and technical knowledge and he rigorous in style of work. Only in this way can he or she have the professional skills and do a good job of editing English information in papers. The aim is to make our scientific and technical periodicals become bridges and links leading to the outside world.
