阐述了道路交通控制系统的系统结构、控制方式和基本功能，以及如何利用计算机开发一个交通信号控制系统的仿真模型，并对设计过程中的关键点进行了分析。
This paper explains system structure, control ways and basic functions about road traffic control system, and tells about how to make use of computer to develop an emulation model of traffic signal control system. Furthermore, the key to the design was analysed.
